Evorel® Conti Patches are a form of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) used to relieve symptoms of the menopause in women who still have their womb. Each patch contains two hormones: estradiol (a form of oestrogen) and norethisterone (a type of progestogen). Together, they help replace the hormones that naturally decrease during menopause, reducing symptoms such as hot flushes, night sweats, mood changes, and vaginal dryness. The continuous delivery of both hormones also protects the womb lining, reducing the risk of endometrial thickening. The patches are applied to the skin twice weekly, releasing a steady dose of hormones directly into the bloodstream. Evorel Conti is particularly suitable for women whose periods have stopped (postmenopausal) and who require continuous combined HRT.
